The acclaimed Washington Performing Arts Children of the Gospel Choir (COTG) takes the stage in a one-of-a-kind musical-style program on matters of social justice, co-curated by the choir members themselves. This performance brings thought-provoking and spirit-stirring messages of resistance, anticipation, and love. Led by award-winning educator Michele Fowlin, this impactful program features the music of Kirk Franklin, Tori Kelly, and Callie Day with special guests Francese Brooks, Anthony “Tony” Walker, Jordan Embrack, and more. Recently featured on NPR’s From the Top, COTG has performed with legendary artists such as Matthew Whitaker, Sara Bareilles at the White House, and at the Inaugural Prayer Services for President Barack Obama. Seating at the venue is available on a first-come basis.
