The Avanti Orchestra is thrilled that renowned violinist and professor Ming-Feng Hsin of the Mannes School of Music has graciously offered to coach two masterclass sessions: one with the Avanti strings on May 11th at the Church of the Epiphany from 6:15 to 7:15pm and the second with individual Avanti violinists on May 13th at the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church from 5:30 to 7:15pm. These exciting masterclasses are open to the public, so feel free to come listen to our musicians perform! And be sure to come to one of Avanti’s concerts (May 15 or May 17), where Professor Hsin is our violin soloist.
