2020-2021 Season Deadline: June 20, 2020
Under normal circumstances, we do our best to ensure every eligible FMMC member has an opportunity to perform. We also recognize that our circumstances are particularly unique for this upcoming season, and we know that things will likely be profoundly different in the fall. We are exploring all options at the moment, but would like to recommend works for solos, duets, trios, and quartets as you submit your applications, as smaller groups provide us with more flexibility as we consider our options.
While we have made no formal decisions regarding the fall season, live performances in our venues will probably not be happening. Please note that applying does not mean that an applicant must perform. While we won’t be hosting concerts at all if it is unsafe to do so and we cannot find a way to mitigate risk, if you are still concerned about performing or rehearsing, you are under no obligation to participate and can decline any invitation with no penalty. This form is simply meant to collect information in an ideal world so that we can adapt as necessary moving forward.
When selecting performances for the 2020-2021 Chamber Series, priority will be given to those whose performances were cancelled in Spring 2020 (due to COVID-19), and groups composed primarily of FMMC members. Please encourage your collaborative musicians to join FMMC, particularly as we implement pay-what-you-can dues this season to accommodate the hardships of this pandemic. Accompanists may be both members of the club and also charge for accompanying performances. If you have any questions about these policies, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are applying to perform more than one piece, please apply for each piece separately.
