The Friday Morning Music Club Orchestra

Founded in 1943 as a string ensemble, the FMMC Orchestra developed into a full symphony orchestra in the 1970's. The orchestra consists of highly qualified players, professional and amateur, all of whom donate their services. Although it maintains an amateur status, the orchestra has earned an outstanding reputation for its excellent performances. It is a community-based organization and presents four to five concerts annually serving the entire Washington Metropolitan area. The FMMC Orchestra's performances have garnered many favorable reviews.

Concerts of the Friday Morning Music Club are open to the public free of charge (donations welcome with no tickets needed except at the Kennedy Center, where they are given out at the door. Programs are subject to change without notice.
